Our Story
At VCC, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and collective action to create a brighter future for everyone. Based in Calgary, we are a non-profit spiritual organization that welcomes people of every background, age and walk of life.
VCC was founded in 2020 by Acharya Rahul Dev Ji to share the timeless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma and Vedic culture with Calgary's diverse community. We do not have a temple of our own; instead, we come together in community halls, family homes and online to learn, celebrate and serve. Since then, VCC has grown with the unwavering support of our volunteers, donors and partners, bringing people together through ceremonies, festivals, spiritual classes and seva, and adding to Canada's rich multicultural life.

Our mission at VCC is to nurture spiritual growth, cultural understanding and community harmony for people of all backgrounds. Through Vedic learning, yoga and meditation, festivals and ceremonies, and selfless service (Seva), we welcome seekers, families, newcomers to Canada and friends of all faiths to connect with the timeless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma.

We envision a spiritually enriched, harmonious and inclusive community in Calgary, inspired by the timeless wisdom of Sanatan scriptures and open to all. Our goal is to encourage individuals to lead purposeful lives. We aspire to be a welcoming home for spiritual learning, cultural celebration and compassionate service for current and future generations, and a proud part of Canada's multicultural community.
What We Offer (Services and Programs)
Ceremonies & Pujas
Our priests conduct pujas, homams and life-event ceremonies (sanskars) at your home or a community venue, for individuals and families of every background.
Festival Celebrations
Celebrating Sanatan festivals such as Navratri and Diwali with ceremonies, cultural performances and community meals. Everyone is welcome to join.

Spiritual Discourses & Classes
Regular sessions on the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, yoga and meditation, plus Gurukul classes for children. Open to all ages and backgrounds.
